Bullying is a serious issue that gets overlooked far too often. Everyone has faced bullying at some point in their life and witnessed someone else being bullied. That is when a choice must be made to either stand by or help take a stand against bullying. I am happy and proud to support Anti-bullying month with my fellow Scribble Nerds, Marvel and Carol & John's Comic Shop. To show characters overcoming their own demons with bullying, I chose a couple characters from Guardians of the Galaxy. Throughout the movie these characters bullied each other. It took awhile but by the end Drax realizes that he had been a bully to Rocket, just like Rocket realized he had bullied Groot. Bullying is something no one should have to deal with. It isn't always a black eye or something visible, sometimes it can be worse like the hurt you can't see.
So like the Guardians who realized their wrong ways...

Hi Jennifer,
DeleteThis is Clare of the Scribble Nerds. The Be a Hero, Not a Bully designs were specifically created for and owned by Carol and John's Comics. Should you like to contact one of the artists to commission new work, their information may be found on their About pages listed at the top. The artist of this design was Ryan Finley.
