The Rocketeer! Cliff & Betty

Hi all, Mark here!
This week I'm playing catch up, and posting my take on the previous challenge, the Rocketeer!

I love the retro character designs for Cliff & Betty, so I drew them together in my "big-head" style.

Alice Sneak Peek

I started working on my Alice in Wonderland drawing and realized that it would be perfect for an upcoming gallery show I'm submitting work for.  I promise to post the full piece as soon as the gallery show opens in a couple weeks, but today I hope you will enjoy this small morsel of a much larger piece.

Weekly Challenge: Alice in Wonderland

Let your vorpal blades go snicker-snack for this week we are paying homage to one of the strangest and most beloved of children’s stories, Alice in Wonderland.

Sneaky Betty

This has been a very busy week. I have been out of town and flying from airport to airport. This portrait of Betty trying on Cliff's uniform is the product of waiting for layovers and cancelled flights.

Peach Baby! (Last Week's Challenge)

Playing catch up. This is for last week's Mario challenge. I HAD to draw Princess Peach in a pin-up, because that is what I do! Anyway here's Peach in all her glory!

Shawny's back in action with the Rocketeer! (WIP)

Hello! It's Shawny. I know, I have been missing on the blog for a couple of weeks thanks to my summer job and computer woes. But I'm back and I come with goodies!

For this weeks challenge I did a sketchbook illustration that will eventually go into Illustrator. I wanted to show the rough sketch before cleaning it up and turning it into vector. Since I'm trying to draw more dudes, drawing the Rocketeer was perfect. But of course I had to add a pretty lady!

Close up!

This weekend I'll probably finish it completely and share it with next week's challenge!

Also, just to play catch up, I'll  be posting some of the other challenges I missed, right after the most recent weekly challenge till I'm all caught up!
