Fili is probably my favorite dwarf to draw, mostly because I really love drawing those mustache braids. And Thorin...I honestly don't need a reason to draw Thorin. I decided to depict them knocking noggins because according to the films, dwarf family member seem to share head bumps to show affection.
So, enjoy my double dose of Durin majesty.
I adore it! Especially the second version, it's full of atmosphere (its style reminds me of Gloin's family portrait in the movie). I love the colour - is it tea? (or coffee maybe)

I'm so glad you enjoy it. The second piece was actually done digitally using scanned textures, but if you thought it was hand aged then I'm doing something right ^_^
